Security expert’s chilling warning came weeks before the conservative activist was shot dead during a university event.

Conservative political activist and prominent Trump ally Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University, Orem.
- He was 31 years old
- Shot once in the neck
- Incident occurred in front of a large crowd
- Authorities launched a 33-hour manhunt
“100% Chance of Being Killed” – Security Expert Warned Weeks Before
According to The Mirror, Kris Herzog, head of The Bodyguard Group of Beverly Hills, warned Kirk personally during a March 6 meeting at California State University:
“There’s a 100% chance you will be killed at an upcoming event if proper security isn’t in place.”
Herzog claimed:
- Kirk never followed up on the advice.
- His team felt Kirk’s security was “not even close” to adequate.
- The threat of a sniper headshot was considered “very real.”
Security Measures That Were Advised but Ignored
Herzog said he recommended:
- Ballistic (bulletproof) glass for the stage
- Metal detectors within a 700-meter perimeter
- Trained counter-sniper surveillance
- Controlled screening of all attendees
“Sadly, he never got back to me. My prediction of his murder has now come true,” Herzog told the Daily Mail.
Suspect Caught After Family Tip-Off
The suspect, Tyler Robinson, was arrested Thursday night, around 33 hours after the shooting.
- A family member and friend contacted police after Robinson allegedly confessed or implied his involvement.
- Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed the capture at a Friday press briefing.

The assassination has shocked political and law enforcement communities, especially given the explicit warning Kirk had received.
