Chirag Paswan Hits Out at Nitish Kumar Over Rising Crime in Bihar

Union Minister warns Nitish government after shocking cases of murder and gang rape.

Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan has strongly criticized the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government over the growing crime rate in the state.

Speaking in Patna, Paswan said he was upset to see murders, rapes, gang rapes, and robberies happening one after another.

“I feel sad that I am supporting a government where crime has become rampant. If this is not stopped, the situation will become dangerous,” he warned.

Crime Wave Before Elections

With assembly elections nearing, Paswan said some crimes could be planned to defame the government. But he added that it is still the administration’s duty to keep law and order under control.

He accused the government of being weak against criminals, saying either it is covering up crimes or has become ineffective.
