“Violence Is Coming”: Elon Musk’s Message at UK Far-Right Rally Sparks Outrage

Over 150,000 join Tommy Robinson’s far-right protest in London as Elon Musk warns of civil conflict in controversial video address.

Massive Far-Right Rally in London Draws 150,000+

A controversial far-right protest in central London on Saturday attracted between 110,000 to 150,000 participants, according to the Metropolitan Police — making it one of the largest such gatherings in UK history. The event, dubbed “Unite the Kingdom,” was organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson (real name: Stephen Yaxley-Lennon).

Elon Musk Joins via Video: “You Either Fight Back or Die”

Tech billionaire and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk joined the rally via a video link, delivering a disturbing message that has since gone viral:

“Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die.”

Musk also claimed:

“The left is the party of murder and celebrating murder.”

His comments were widely condemned by political figures and civil society groups, sparking fresh concerns over the influence of extremist rhetoric online.

Who Else Spoke at the Rally?

The protest featured speeches by far-right figures from Europe and North America:

  • Eric Zemmour – French far-right politician, promoted the “Great Replacement” theory.
  • Petr Bystron – Member of Germany’s anti-immigrant AfD party.
  • Tommy Robinson – Called it a “patriotic unity” event and dedicated it to right-wing US activist Charlie Kirk.

Placards and chants included slogans like:

  • “Stop the Boats”
  • “Defend Free Speech”
  • “Britain First”

25 Arrests, 26 Police Officers Injured

Clashes erupted during the event as some protesters tried to breach police cordons. According to the Metropolitan Police:

  • 25 arrests were made
  • 26 officers were injured, including serious injuries (broken nose, concussion, prolapsed disc)

“There is no doubt that many came to protest lawfully, but many came intent on violence,” said Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist.

Counter-Protest: Stand Up to Racism Rally

Roughly 5,000 counter-protesters gathered under the “Stand Up to Racism” banner, just a mile north of the main event. Labour MP Diane Abbott addressed the crowd, denouncing far-right rhetoric:

“We need to be in solidarity with asylum seekers and show unity.”

Rising Tensions Amid Anti-Immigration Sentiment

The protest reflects growing anti-immigration sentiment in the UK, fueled by:

  • Concerns over asylum seekers arriving via the English Channel.
  • The rise of Reform UK, backed by Nigel Farage, currently leading in some polls.
  • Previous anti-immigration riots in UK towns.

Political & Public Reactions

  • Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats: “These far-right thugs do not speak for Britain.”
  • Interior Minister Shabana Mahmood: “Those attacking police will face the full force of the law.”
  • Anti-racism group Hope Not Hate called the rally “probably the largest far-right demonstration ever in Britain.”
