Following the tragic stampede at actor-politician Vijay’s rally in Karur, which claimed at least 38 lives, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has formally sought a report from the Tamil Nadu government.
Sources confirmed that Home Minister Amit Shah spoke with Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday to take stock of the situation.
