What the Coach Says

Coach Tushar Khandker emphasized that this squad is suitably balanced — strong defenders, creative midfielders, versatile attackers. The team is young, but many already have valuable match experience. The Australia tour is being viewed as a crucial chance for them to step up.

With Jyoti Singh leading from the back, the Indian junior women’s hockey team kicks off this Australia tour with high hopes. The exposure will not only sharpen their skills, but also build confidence ahead of the Junior World Cup in December. Expecting valuable performances as they face strong opposition outside home soil.
