The makers of Kantara: Chapter 1 have announced that Hrithik Roshan will unveil the Hindi trailer on September 22, 2025, at 12:45 PM. The announcement was shared on social media by Hombale Films.

About Kantara: Chapter 1
Kantara: Chapter 1 is a prequel to the popular original film. It is set during the reign of the Kadambas of Banavasi. The film stars Rishab Shetty in two roles, along with Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, and Achyuth Kumar. The story is about a Kambala champion who has conflicts with a strict forest officer.
Rishab Shetty wrote and directed the movie. Vijay Kiragandur produced it under Hombale Films. Filming began in November 2023, and the first teaser was released on November 27. The movie will be released on October 2, 2025, in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English.
Hrithik Roshan’s Collaboration With Hombale Films
Hombale Films, known for big hits like KGF and Kantara, announced earlier this year that they are working with Hrithik Roshan on a new pan-India film.
