Driver Named MP and Two Others in Suicide Note; FIR Filed Under SC/ST Act and Abetment Charges
A tragic incident unfolded in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur, where 30-year-old driver M Babu died by suicide on Thursday morning. The man reportedly named BJP MP K Sudhakar and two others—Nagesh and Manjunath—in a suicide note, accusing them of cheating him out of ₹25 lakh under the pretext of securing a government job.

According to Babu’s wife, Shilpa, the suicide note clearly blamed the trio for cheating and mental harassment. The FIR was filed after the note was submitted to the police.
🔹 Police Statement
SP Kushal Chouksey confirmed:
“We received the information at 8:30 AM. The deceased alleged he was cheated of lakhs in exchange for a job promise using an MP’s influence. We are verifying whether the MP’s name was genuinely involved or misused.”
🔹 BJP MP Sudhakar’s Response
MP Sudhakar, who is also a former state health minister, responded:
“I am deeply pained. I have no connection with the deceased. I’ve never seen or met Babu in my public life.”
He also claimed no knowledge of the other two accused individuals and expressed surprise at being named.
