Russian model and former Miss Universe 2017 contestant Kseniya Alexandrova has died after a freak car accident involving an elk. The 30-year-old, who was also the first runner-up in Miss Russia 2017, succumbed to severe brain injuries on August 12, more than a month after the accident.
The crash occurred on July 5 when Alexandrova and her husband were driving home from Rzhev. Their car collided with an elk that suddenly darted onto the road.
