Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new housing complex for 184 Members of Parliament (MPs) on Baba Kharak Singh Marg, central Delhi. The project replaces the old Lutyens’ bungalows with four 23-floor towers, featuring modern apartments designed for comfort and functionality.

Key Features of the MPs’ Housing Complex

  • Total Flats: 184, each about 461.5 sq meters (~5,000 sq ft)
  • Rooms: Five bedrooms with attached dressing rooms and bathrooms, drawing & dining rooms, family lounge, puja room, balconies for every room
  • Dedicated Offices: Separate offices for MPs and assistants, each with attached toilets
  • Staff Quarters: Two quarters with kitchenettes and bathrooms, separate entrances for staff and MPs
  • Modern Amenities: Modular kitchens, double-glazed UPVC windows, wooden & vitrified flooring, central air conditioning (VRV system), video door phones, WiFi, cable TV, piped natural gas, RO water systems
