Terrorist Hideout Busted in Jammu & Kashmir’s Lidwas Forest
Three high-value terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter today in Lidwas, near Srinagar, shortly after the Indian Army launched Operation Mahadev in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have also captured images of their jungle hideout, offering a rare glimpse into their forest base of operations.
Inside the Terrorist Hideout: Jungle Shelter & Seized Weapons
According to images accessed by NDTV, the encounter site reveals:
- Bodies of the slain terrorists lying in the bushes, surrounded by assault rifles
- A green tarpaulin stretched between trees, forming a makeshift shelter
- Scattered items including clothes, blankets, plastic bags, food, and metal plates
The hideout was located deep inside a forested area in the Mulnar region of Harwan, not far from the outskirts of Srinagar.
