The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26, offering financial aid of up to ₹20 lakh for eligible school and college students across India.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to students in the following categories:
- School students (Class 6 to 12)
- Undergraduate & Postgraduate students
- Professional courses like Medical, IIT, IIM
- Overseas students pursuing higher education
Income Criteria:
- For school students, the family’s annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000.
- For all other categories, the income limit is ₹6,00,000 per annum.
Scholarship Amount:
Depending on the course and level of education, selected students will receive:
- Between ₹15,000 and ₹20,00,000
Reservation Benefits:
- 50% of the scholarships are reserved for female students
- 50% are reserved for SC/ST candidates
- SC/ST applicants also get a 10% relaxation in marks criteria
