Tamannaah Bhatia After Breakup with Vijay Varma: “Trying to Become a Great Life Partner”

Actor opens up on personal growth, friendships, and working with best friends in business while promoting her new show with Diana Penty.

Tamannaah Bhatia is in a period of reflection and personal growth. The actress, who is currently promoting her new Amazon Prime Video series Do You Wanna Partner with co-star Diana Penty, recently opened up about relationships, the value of friendships, and her desire to become a better life partner.

“Working On Being a Great Life Partner”

In a candid media interaction, Tamannaah shared her aspirations for the future, especially in relationships, following her reported breakup with actor Vijay Varma.

“I’m trying to work on becoming a great life partner. That’s my quest at the moment,” she said. “I want to be that person who makes someone feel like they’ve done good karma in a past life to have me in theirs. Whoever the lucky person is, the package shall arrive soon.”

Do You Wanna Partner — Business With Best Friends?

Tamannaah and Diana star in Do You Wanna Partner, a series that follows two best friends starting a business together. Diana admitted that the show changed her perspective on mixing friendship with business.

“I used to think best friends should never work together. But after doing this show, I feel it can actually be fun. You don’t have to explain everything — it saves time, and there’s comfort.”

Tamannaah shared that she’s even tried convincing her real-life best friend, Billy — a makeup artist — to start a business with her.

“I keep telling her, let’s do makeup together! But she refuses. Meanwhile, I’m on Prime Video telling the whole country to go into business with their best friends,” she laughed.

Friendships That Matter

Both actresses also highlighted how female friendships have shaped their lives. Tamannaah mentioned how her closest friends, Pragya and Billy, go out of their way to support her.

“I was shooting a song, and they showed up just to spend 15–20 minutes with me. That small gesture meant the world,” she shared.

Diana prefers friendships that are low-maintenance and drama-free.

“For me, the best friends are those you can hang out with and do nothing. No pressure, no awkwardness. Just chill.”

Jugnu of Real-Life Friendships

As Do You Wanna Partner focuses on themes of loyalty, trust, and collaboration, both actors reflect the same values off-screen — showing that real friendships can thrive even in a demanding industry.
