US President Says Clinton Must Answer Questions Over Epstein Links
US President Donald Trump has reacted to reports that Bill Clinton’s photographs appear in newly released Jeffrey Epstein files, saying the former Democratic president is capable of handling the scrutiny.
Speaking to reporters, Trump dismissed concerns over Clinton’s appearance in the documents and remarked, “Big boy can handle it,” suggesting Clinton should address questions surrounding his alleged association with Epstein.
What the Epstein Files Reveal
The recently released documents linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein include photographs and references connected to several high-profile individuals. Among them are images featuring Bill Clinton, reigniting debate over his interactions with Epstein in the past.
Clinton has previously acknowledged meeting Epstein on a few occasions but has consistently denied any knowledge of or involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities.
Trump’s Response
When questioned about Clinton’s appearance in the files, Trump sought to distance himself from the controversy, reiterating that attention should remain on those named in the documents.
Trump has earlier stated that he ended his association with Epstein long before the financier was arrested and charged with sex trafficking offences.
Renewed Focus on Epstein Case
The release of the Epstein files has once again brought global attention to the disgraced financier’s network and the prominent figures connected to him. The disclosures continue to prompt public debate and political reactions as more details emerge.
