Puducherry U19 Coach Claims He Was Assaulted After Team Selection Dispute
A U19 coach from the Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP), S Venkataraman, has alleged that three players attacked him after they were not selected for the team. The incident reportedly happened at the CAP indoor training facility.
According to the report, the coach suffered a shoulder fracture and needed 20 stitches on his forehead after the assault. Police have filed an FIR, and the accused players are currently on the run.
