Users across the world say the social app is not loading content, amid reports of Cloudflare network issues affecting multiple platforms.
X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is reportedly experiencing a global service disruption, with thousands of users complaining that they cannot load new posts. According to outage-tracking websites like Downdetector, the error message “something went wrong” or “error loading posts” is appearing for many.
The outage appears to coincide with broader Cloudflare network problems, as several users claim Cloudflare’s services are currently unstable. Cloudflare is a key infrastructure provider for many websites, which could explain the widespread disruption.
This isn’t the first time X has faced such issues. In previous outages, users reported similar problems—timelines failing to refresh, posts not appearing, and notifications not coming through. Despite the scale of the outage, X has not yet published a full explanation for the disruption.
For now, users are advised to try reloading the app or web feed periodically. If the issue persists, it may be due to broader network problems rather than device-specific glitches.
