What Happened: Cause of Death
According to the organisers of the North East India Festival in Singapore:
- Zubeen experienced breathing difficulties while scuba diving.
- He was immediately rescued from the sea, given CPR, and rushed to Singapore General Hospital.
- Despite doctors’ efforts, he was declared dead in the ICU at around 2:30 PM IST.
